About tour
Come and experience ice fishing with local woodsman who will teach you the basics of ice fishing. First you will visit Borealis Point reindeer farm to meet and feed reindeer and after that you will head to the nearby frozen lake to fish.
When arriving to Borealis Point, you are provided with long windproof jacket that you can wear over your own outdoor gear. At the fishing location a guide teaches you the basics of ice-fishing, drilling a hole, worm-hooking, jerking and how to act when fish catches. You will check our overnight hooks for burbot fish, that usually weight 0,5–3 kg.
After fishing you can grill sausages over a campfire. Warm juice and campfire coffee are served for warmth and thirst. You can grill your prey, if you catch it early enough in the tour so there is time to cook it and eat in the schedule.
