Customers arrive to Borealis Point where they are provided with long windproof jackets that they can wear over their own outdoor gear. After dressing up the jackets, a quick visit to our reindeer pen, and after that guests are guided to the ice. At the fishing location the guide teaches customers the basics of ice-fishing, drilling a hole, worm-hooking, jerking and how to act when fish catches. Guests will check our overnight hooks where, we try to catch burbot fish that usually weigh 0,5–3 kg. When the guests are fishing, the guide grills them sausages over a fire. Warm juice and campfire coffee are served for warmth and thirst. Guests can grill their prey, if they catch it early enough in the tour so there is time to cook it and eat in the schedule. End of tour guests return back to shore and give back the jackets and return transport begins.
